Home learning for Friday 10th July

This is our final home learning post on the blog this year! What a year it has been! Thank you for all your support with home learning. We will be having lots of fun together over our final couple of weeks. Here are some key dates for your diary:  Monday 13th 5-5:45pm - Year 2 disco  Thursday 16th July - Break the rules day (please see parentmail for information.) Thursday 16th July 4-6 - Open evening. Come and see all the amazing work the children have been doing and visit their new classes. Please bring a plastic bag with you as this will be a good time to take home class books.  Friday 17th July - Inset day  Monday 20th July 9:30am - Sports Day Wednesday 22nd July - Last day of term. It's been another busy week in Year 2 and we are feeling very proud of the children who continue to work hard! Here are your home learning activities for this week... Can you come up with any other examples?  word work worm world worth Try practising them by speed writing them! Maths  This week we have been looking at measuring. This could be telling the time, weighing items or measuring the length of different objects. Could you have a go at this with things at home?
