This week, we have continued to look at fractions. Can you work out the fraction of these shapes that are coloured? Then maybe you could draw your own shapes to test your family?

Wednesday (4th March) was the day that Hindus celebrated the festival of Holi! We learnt about this festival in RE this week.

It has been a busy week in Year 2. Thank you for the home learning messages that you have sent us over the last couple of weeks. Each class will take the lead in a performance with the two classes to support them with some singing. Here are the important dates for your diary… Tuesday 14 th October 2pm – 2S performance Wednesday 15 th October 2pm – 2R performance Thursday 16 th October 2pm – 2B performance Your child will only be on the stage on their class performance day, so please attend the correct day for their class!
