Home learning Friday 13th January 2026

Happy half term break!

During half term many people will be celebrating the start of the Lunar New Year. This begins on Tuesday 17th February. There are lots of events in our local area that you might like to attend so that your family can also celebrate. Please see the weblinks below to find out more...

We look forward to seeing all the children dressed in red clothes for our own Lunar New Year celebration on the first Tuesday back.

There won't be any official home learning set for you in the holiday. If you would like something to do, our spellings this week have been...

knot

know

knee

gnat

gnaw

Alternatively, please look back over the last few weeks and revisit some of the spellings and maths games that we've put on the blog before.

We'd love it if you kept reading every day too!

Reading

As always, please read every day. This might be your reading book from school or a book from home. Don't forget, you can also log on to bug club phonics.

Have a lovely break and we'll see you on Monday 23rd February 2026.
