Home Learning for Friday 13th December
Hello everyone!
We are looking forward to lots of fun and festivities next week in school. Don't forget that next Tuesday is Christmas Dinner day and you can wear a Christmas jumper. Wednesday is our Christmas party day so children can wear their party clothes to school.
Thank you to those of you that read the school notice about not bringing in lots of Christmas cards. One for the whole class to be displayed in our classroom is plenty!
The final thing to remember is that school finishes at 12.05 next Friday, and then we are back to school on Monday 6th January.
Here are your home learning activities for this week...
Reading
As always, please read every day. This might be your reading book from school or a book from home. Don't forget, you can also log on to bug club phonics.

Spelling
Here are the common exception words we would like you to practise this week...
there
where
were
who
why
All of the words starting with w can be used to start questions, so maybe you could practise your spellings by writing questions this week?
Where is your Christmas tree?
Were you able to wrap all your presents?
Who is having Christmas dinner with you?
Why can't it be Christmas every day?
Maths
This week we have been revising some of the maths skills we have learnt this year. Please use these games to practise a range of maths skills at home this week...

This week's activity...
In RE we have been learning about what angels are and the role they played in the Christmas story. Watch the story from the link below and see if you can spot any angels. What is their job in the story?
