Home learning for Friday 4th October 2024
We hope you have had a good week!
Here are your home learning activities for this week...
Reading
As always, please read every day. This might be your reading book from school or a book from home. Don't forget, you can also log on to bug club phonics. The log in information you need is written inside the cover of your home learning book and the link is here...

Maths
This week we have been working on some simple addition and subtraction. We have recorded a video for you to watch here to see some of the equipment and models we have been using.
Try some simple addition and subtraction at home this week. Your child may seem to find this easy, but it is important that they are fluent with these basic skills before we move onto anything more difficult.
There are some place value pieces here that you could use if you want to practise your skills online...

This week's task
Did you know that this week is world space week?
Our learning next week will be focused on space and climate change in accordance with this year's space week theme.
You might like to spend some time this weekend preparing for next week and thinking about what is out in space. If it is a clear night, maybe you could go outside and do some stargazing? There are some websites here with ideas of things you could do...
