Home Learning for Friday 15th November 2024

It's been another busy week in Year 2. We have enjoyed reading a story called "The Dragon Machine". We have carried out a science investigation about forces.  We have also been continuing to work hard on our multiplication skills.

Here are your home learning activities for this week...

Reading

As always, please read every day. This might be your reading book from school or a book from home. Don't forget, you can also log on to bug club phonics.

(There are different options to choose from on the bowling game so select the year 2 objectives and pick one you want to practise!)

Watch this multiplication video to help understand how we teach multiplication in Year 2.

This week's task...

Look at this incredible dragon...

Can you write some sentences about this dragon?

Use some adjectives to describe what it is like. You might also be able to write in the past tense as we have practiced this week.
