Home learning for Friday 27th September 2024

Hello everyone!

Despite it being a shorter week we have still been very busy with our learning. The children are also getting very excited to perform to you in a few weeks. Please practise their words with them at home if you get the chance!

Reading

Maths

We have continued to work on our place value this week and have been making numbers in different ways.

At home, have a go at this game called Daily 10. There are lots of skills that you can practise here. Choose level 2 and then try a skill to practise. A good one to look at from what we learned this week would be 'partitioning'.

This week's activity...

This week, in Geography, we have been discussing what it is like to live in Whiteley and the different geographical features of a town. This week at home, we would like you to ask your adults some questions about Whiteley. Why did they choose to live in Whiteley? What is their favourite part of Whiteley? 

You can write down what you find out, or maybe draw a picture of the part of Whiteley that they like best!

Can you remember what a human or physical geographical feature is? Tell an adult all about them!
