Strange goings on!

Today in assembly we had an unexpected visitor. Her name was Professor Phoenix and she is a dragonologist. We went out into the woods to look for dragon clues - don't worry, the dragon she is looking for is vegetarian! (In fact he seems to like eating chips!) Please keep an eye out for any further strange happenings in Whiteley over the holiday!

Happy half term break!

  What a great half term we have had! Thank you for all of your support with settling the children into Year 2. They have well and truly earned their week's break! There are no formal tasks set during the holiday but please see below for possible activities you can do if you want to keep busy! We hope that you will continue some reading over the half term break, especially if you are trying to earn your bronze bookworm badge! You can read your books at home, or your library books or reading books from school.  Don't forget, you can also log on to bug club phonics. We are very excited for you all to come and watch our 'Explorers' show next week! Please remember that the timings are as follows... Tuesday 17th 9.15am Wednesday 18th 2pm Thursday 19th 2pm If you have not booked a performance to watch, please return your parentmail form or contact the school office.
