Hello everyone! Welcome back! We are ready for another fun filled half term. Hopefully you received a curriculum newsletter this week with the information about our new learning journey. It's going to be a busy time! Don't forget the important dates for this half term... Over the half term, children will be making a range of artefacts and we will be displaying these in a class museum in the penultimate week. We would like to invite you to come and look at our museums once they are done. You can either come and visit at 3pm on Monday 18th March, or at 8.30am on Tuesday 19th March. We look forward to seeing you then! On Wednesday 27 th  March we will be celebrating all of our learning about monarchs with a Kings and Queens dress up day. Happy Half term break! There won't be any official home learning set for you in the holiday. If you would like something to do, please look back over the last few weeks and revisit some of the spellings and maths games that we've put on the blog before. We'd love it if you kept reading every day too! We had a great final day of this half term celebrating the lunar new year. If you'd like to celebrate the lunar new year at home, there is some information here about what to do on each of the 15 days!!! First Day (大年初一) Many families serve all vegetarian dishes for their first meal as it is believed to help purify and cleanse out the body. Many other families have a big feast instead to celebrate the first day of the new year.  It is a day to visit other family members, starting from the oldest and most senior members of the family.  Some will visit temples hoping to be among the first group of people to pay respect to the gods and goddesses.  Firecrackers, dragon and lion
