Home learning for Friday 14th November 2025

It's been another busy week in Year 2. We have enjoyed reading a story called "The Dragon Machine". We have carried out a science investigation about forces.  We have also been continuing to work hard on our multiplication skills.

Here are your home learning activities for this week...

Reading

As always, please read every day. This might be your reading book from school or a book from home. Don't forget, you can also log on to bug club phonics.

Maybe you could try writing them backwards and forwards?

Maths

We have continued multiplying in math this week.  We have also shown the children how to divide. This is a new concept foe them so some of the children may not yet feel confident about dividing. We will be covering division again in the Spring term. The children have learnt the concept them dividing can be solved either by grouping or sharing.

You might like to have a go at one of these multiplication games at home...
